remember!

today i had the day off for remembrance day and went downtown for the national remembrance day memorial... it was unreal... its like God has suddenly opened my eyes to the importance of remembrance day. i imagined what life would have been like if Canada didn't go to war against the Nazis... it was crazy. there are so many freedoms i take for granted.



the sky was SO blue. it was beautiful. there are many places in the world where the sky always looks grey. im happy Canada isn't one of those places. i'm not big into war and the forces and whatever, but i am thankful for the brave men and women who gave their lives for freedom in Canada. i've never sang O Canada like i did today.

and! it was awesome to see people of every generation out there to pay their respects and remember. it gives me hope for our country.

some minister prayed this very politically correct prayer which i found kind of strange- but whatever- God heard it.
